Judas Priest Documentary Directed by Tom Morello, Sam Dunn in Production

Sony Music Vision is producing a documentary titled The Ballad of Judas Priest, which chronicles the legendary British heavy metal band's more than 50-year career and impact on the genre. The film is co-directed by metal documentarian Sam Dunn and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, marking Morello's directorial debut. The documentary promises intimate, uncensored access to the band's lives, highlighting their influence on the sound, look, and inclusivity of heavy metal. Judas Priest, known for hits like "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin'," has sold over 50 million records, released 19 studio albums, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. The band will also embark on a North American tour with Alice Cooper in 2025. Produced by Banger Films and distributed by Sony Music Vision, the project aims to share the band's enduring legacy with metal fans worldwide.
