Fender, Brad Paisley Launch Limited Edition 'Lost Paisley' Telecaster
Fender and Brad Paisley have collaborated to release the Limited Edition Brad Paisley 1967 'Lost Paisley' Telecaster, inspired by the original psychedelic Paisley Red and Blue finishes introduced in the late 1960s as part of the counterculture movement. Paisley, a long-time fan of the design, discovered vintage blue/green Paisley Cling-Foil, which led him and his team to restore a 1967 Telecaster and revive the lost art of the Paisley finish. This partnership resulted in 67 guitars produced by Fender's Custom Shop and an additional 19 guitars personally built by Paisley, each featuring the original-style Cling-Foil and carefully selected hardware for optimal playability and tone. The Paisley finish, once rare due to its delicate construction and short production run, is now faithfully recreated through painstaking craftsmanship and research. The limited run celebrates both Fender’s historic designs and Paisley’s deep involvement as a musician and guitar builder. Paisley has described the new model as 'the best guitar I’ve ever had,' highlighting its unique sound and personal significance.
