WVU Players Earn Big 12 Football Honors

Wyatt Milum was honored as the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, marking a significant achievement for the Mountaineers as he is the third player from the program to receive this accolade. He has showcased exceptional performance by not allowing a sack in his last two seasons and contributing to a strong rushing attack. Josiah Trotter was named Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, leading all freshmen nationally with 92 tackles. Additionally, TJ Jackson earned a spot on the All-Big 12 First Team after a strong season with 6.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss. The Mountaineers also had several players recognized as All-Big 12 Honorable Mentions, reflecting their competitive performance this season. Overall, the Big 12 postseason awards highlighted standout players, including Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, who were recognized as the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year respectively.
