Head-On Crash Near Harvard Injures Five Including Two Children
A head-on collision between a sedan and an SUV near Route 14 and Lembcke Road in unincorporated Harvard on Sunday afternoon resulted in five people being injured, including two children. Emergency responders found both vehicles heavily damaged with debris scattered across the roadway. One child, who was ejected from their car seat in the SUV, was airlifted in serious condition to a Level I trauma center, while the other child suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance. The driver of the sedan was trapped and required extrication before being taken to a hospital in serious condition. Two adults in the SUV sustained moderate injuries and were also hospitalized. The roadway was shut down for nearly 90 minutes as multiple fire protection districts and emergency medical teams responded to the scene.
