Buffalo Sabres Re-sign Goalie Devon Levi

The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed goaltender Devon Levi to a two-year, $1.625 million contract, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to his development despite a challenging NHL season last year. Levi, age 23, excelled in the AHL with the Rochester Americans, posting a 25-13-4 record, 2.20 goals-against average, and .919 save percentage, while his NHL appearances resulted in a 2-7-0 record, 4.12 GAA, and .872 save percentage in nine games. Acquired in the 2021 Sam Reinhart trade with Florida, Levi remains a key part of Buffalo's youth movement but faces stiff competition from Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and new signing Alex Lyon on the goaltending depth chart.
