Multiple Ramp Closures Planned Michigan, Iowa, Kentucky Sept. 11-16

Several ramp closures are impacting drivers across multiple states due to ongoing construction and maintenance efforts. In Battle Creek, Michigan, ramps from M-96 to southbound I-194 and from northbound I-194 to M-96 will be closed through early October for paving and curb work. Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will see temporary ramp closures for drain cleaning on select days in September. Louisville, Kentucky, faces weekend ramp closures in Spaghetti Junction to apply high-friction surfaces aimed at improving safety following recent semitruck crashes. Additionally, in Dimondale, Michigan, lane and ramp closures on Interstate 96 are scheduled for a major bridge reconstruction project. Meanwhile, an overturned tractor-trailer caused a ramp closure on northbound I-275 to SR-690 in Pinellas County, Florida, with cleanup continuing into Wednesday morning and detours in place.
