The Rajasthan government has reported receiving investment proposals worth over Rs 5.21 lakh crore (approximately $62 billion) within just two weeks of announcing the 'Rising Rajasthan' Investment Summit scheduled for December 9-11, 2024. These proposals, which represent over 33% of Rajasthan's estimated economy, are projected to create around 1.55 lakh direct jobs. Officials attribute this surge in interest to the state's efforts over the past six months to enhance its investment climate, including the establishment of a single-point interface for investors. The summit aims to attract investment across various sectors, including agriculture, minerals, and technology. In addition to the summit, the state plans to conduct domestic and international roadshows to engage with potential investors. This significant influx of investment proposals reflects growing confidence in Rajasthan's economic potential.
