Conjuring House Owner Arrested After Police Chase

Jacqueline Nunez, owner of the house made famous by 'The Conjuring' film, was arrested in Burrillville, Rhode Island, for DUI after leading police on a high-speed chase. Police reports indicate Nunez drove erratically and exhibited signs of intoxication, including an overwhelming smell of alcohol and bloodshot eyes. The incident occurred on Monday night when officers attempted to stop her white Lexus, but she refused to pull over, leading to a pursuit through town streets. Bodycam footage shows Nunez laughing, refusing to comply with sobriety tests, and questioning the necessity of multiple officers for a few drinks. She was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and other traffic violations, but pleaded not guilty. Nunez was released on personal recognizance and her next court date is set for November 12.
