Soundcore Launches Liberty 5 Earbuds with Enhanced ANC, Dolby Audio

Soundcore, Anker’s audio sub-brand, has launched the Liberty 5 wireless earbuds, featuring its most advanced Adaptive ANC 3.0 technology, which recalibrates noise reduction every 0.3 seconds and is claimed to be twice as effective at canceling human voices compared to previous models. The earbuds utilize six microphones and AI algorithms to enhance call clarity and reduce background noise, even in windy environments. With support for high-res audio codecs like LDAC and AAC, a new wool paper diaphragm driver, and customizable EQ presets via the Soundcore app, the Liberty 5 is positioned as a strong contender in the mid-range market for both Android and iPhone users. Battery life is notable, offering up to 12 hours per charge (8 with ANC on) and a total of 48 hours with the charging case, plus fast charging and Qi wireless charging. However, the Liberty 5 omits the heart rate tracking feature found in its predecessor, focusing instead on pure audio performance and durability, with an IP55 rating for sweat and dust resistance. Dolby Audio support adds cinematic depth, though it can reduce battery life when enabled.
