Motorcyclist Dies in Cambridgeshire Crash, Norfolk Man Arrested

A 34-year-old motorcyclist from Uckfield, East Sussex, died at the scene following a collision with a cream Volkswagen Transporter van near Littleport and Queen Adelaide on May 30. The van was traveling southbound on Branch Bank when it collided with the motorbike traveling in the opposite direction. A 50-year-old man from Southery, Norfolk, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. Detective Sergeant Craig Wheeler expressed condolences to the victim's family and urged anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to contact police, referencing Operation Laureate. Specially trained officers are supporting the deceased rider's family. Authorities continue to appeal for witnesses and any relevant information to assist with the investigation.
