One Dead in Single-Vehicle Bridgeville Crash

A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred early on July 12, 2025, near Bridgeville, Delaware, involving a Buick Century traveling at a high rate of speed on Wilson Farm Road. The vehicle ran a stop sign at Cannon Road, went off Conrail Road twice, spun, struck a concrete barrier, and overturned. The 27-year-old male driver from Bridgeville was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities closed Wilson Farm Road, Conrail Road, and Cannon Road for about three and a half hours to investigate and clear the crash site. Police are withholding the driver's identity pending family notification and are asking witnesses to contact them with any information. The Delaware State Police's Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing the investigation.
