Sex Offenders Charged, Convicted Across US, Guam, UK
Recent cases across the U.S., Guam and the U.K. show prosecutors pursuing charges and enforcement actions against men accused of sexual offenses and breaches of registration or protective orders. In Canton, Georgia, 25-year-old Chandler Reid Cantrell was found guilty of rape, four counts of incest, three counts of aggravated child molestation and four counts of child molestation for abusing children under 10; sentencing is pending. In Maine, 27-year-old lifetime registrant Matthew Nate Boegel was arrested in Camden and charged with felony sexual abuse of minors and violating conditions of release after being found with a juvenile, while in Baltimore County a 28-year-old registered offender, Miracle Elendu, was arrested on allegations he solicited, recruited, raped and trafficked multiple female juveniles. In Arkansas, Level 3 registrant Chad Vincent Douglas pleaded not guilty to allegations he falsely listed himself as homeless and lived in a prohibited area near a youth soccer complex, violating registration rules. In the U.K., Adan Bath admitted 13 breaches of a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and was jailed for 2½ years. In Guam, repeat sex offender Albert Blas Camacho, who has prior convictions for assaults on young girls, is scheduled for a December jury trial on an allegation he assaulted a 13-year-old in August 2022.
