Delaware County Deadly Head-On Crash Kills One, Injures NY State Trooper

A series of serious vehicle crashes involving law enforcement officers has recently occurred across the United States. In Florida, a trooper was injured after a pickup truck, driven by Kevin Reardon who was charged with DUI, deliberately collided with the trooper’s car while fleeing at high speed on I-75. In Pennsylvania, a person was critically injured in a crash on Route 422 and required airlift to a Pittsburgh hospital. Most notably, in Delaware County, New York, a deadly head-on collision occurred when 71-year-old Roger Hadley crossed into oncoming traffic and struck an SUV driven by off-duty New York State Trooper Anna Aulino, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center. Hadley was pronounced dead at the scene, and investigations into the crash remain ongoing. These incidents underscore the dangers faced by law enforcement officers both on and off duty, as well as the severe consequences of impaired and reckless driving.
