Lindsey Buckingham Secures Permanent Restraining Order

Lindsey Buckingham, lead guitarist of Fleetwood Mac, has been granted a permanent restraining order against a 53-year-old woman named Michelle, who has been harassing him and his family since 2021. Buckingham testified in court on December 20, presenting evidence including photos and audio clips left by Michelle, leading the judge to impose a five-year protective order that will last until December 2029. The court ordered Michelle to maintain a distance of 100 yards from Buckingham, his wife Kristen, and their son William, while prohibiting any form of contact or harassment. Buckingham shared that Michelle had claimed to be his daughter, made threats against his family, and blamed him for her alleged childhood facial deformities. He emphasized in court, “I do not know [her] and I am not her father,” asserting that the police had previously advised Michelle to cease contact. Despite believing the situation had settled down, Buckingham was forced to take legal action again after Michelle's recent reappearance at his home.
