These terrorists are linked to the Kashmir Tigers, a faction associated with the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad, and were involved in a deadly ambush on an army patrol that resulted in the deaths of five soldiers on July 8. Following this incident, another attack occurred on July 15 in Doda district, killing four additional army personnel. The police are urging the public to assist in locating these terrorists, announcing a reward of Rs 5 lakhs for actionable information about each individual. The situation in Jammu has deteriorated recently, with a series of violent attacks, raising concerns about the rising threat from terrorist groups in the region. Police have noted that there are approximately 40 to 50 terrorists operating in the upper reaches of Jammu, prompting calls for increased vigilance from the community.
