Apple TV+ has greenlit a new 10-episode dramedy series titled "I’m Glad My Mom Died," starring Jennifer Aniston, who will also serve as an executive producer. The series is based on Jennette McCurdy’s 2022 bestselling memoir, which details her challenging childhood as a child star, including struggles with eating disorders, addiction, and a toxic relationship with her narcissistic mother, a role Aniston will portray. McCurdy and Ari Katcher will write, executive produce, and serve as showrunners, with additional production from Sharon Horgan’s Merman, Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap, Jerrod Carmichael, and Erica Kay.
