Madhya Pradesh to Host Mining Conclave 2024

The Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave 2024 is scheduled for October 17-18 in Bhopal, aiming to attract investments in the state's rich mining and mineral sectors. Key discussions will focus on sustainable practices, technological advancements including AI and ML, and the potential of alternative energy sources like coal-bed methane. Madhya Pradesh is recognized for its vast mineral wealth, being the sole producer of diamonds in India and a leader in manganese and copper production. The state government plans to transform Madhya Pradesh into a mining hub, with over 600 delegates expected, including representatives from major companies and government officials. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of collaboration among industry stakeholders to boost economic growth and employment opportunities. The conclave will also feature technical sessions on mining safety, drone technology, and new mining innovations.
