Florida Man Arrested for Spraying Disabled Neighbors with Sprinklers in Bus Stop Dispute

Antonio Roman, a 61-year-old man from Ocala, Florida, was arrested for repeatedly activating his sprinkler system to soak his disabled neighbors as they got on and off their school bus. Roman used surveillance cameras to time the sprinklers to coincide with the bus arrivals, drenching the victims twice daily since August 2024. The victims, two special-needs individuals aged 17 and 22, were targeted because Roman was upset the bus stop utilized part of his driveway for a wheelchair ramp. The attacks forced the father of the victims to wear swimming attire to shield his children. Roman was charged with multiple counts, including stalking and battery on a disabled person, and was taken into custody after turning himself in. Authorities confirmed through surveillance that the sprinklers were aimed directly at the bus stop and operated only during bus arrivals and departures.
