Directed by Cameron Crowe, the film offers an intimate and candid look at Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers during the MTV era, capturing the essence of their creative process around the 1982 album 'Long After Dark.' This marks the first time the documentary will be widely available since its original, one-time airing on MTV in 1983. The release will include nearly 20 minutes of never-before-seen bonus content, featuring new commentary from Crowe and exclusive footage of the band.
