Haryana Section of Delhi-Katra Expressway Opens

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is implementing dynamic tolling on parts of Interstate 25 and Interstate 70, starting Monday. Tolls will be adjusted in real-time based on traffic conditions, ranging from $1.50 to $4.75 on I-25 and up to $9 on I-70, updated as frequently as every 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the Haryana section of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway has opened, reducing travel time significantly between Delhi and Katra to approximately six hours. This 135-km stretch features eight toll barriers, with varied toll rates for different vehicle types, such as ₹240 for light motor vehicles and ₹880 for three-axle commercial vehicles. The expressway is part of a larger 669 km project aimed at enhancing connectivity to key religious destinations. Construction continues on the Punjab segment, expected to be completed by March 2025.
