DUI Suspected in Orangevale Rollover Crash

A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a rollover crash in Orangevale on Wednesday evening that left four passengers injured, including three children and one adult in critical condition. The incident occurred around 8:49 p.m. on Chestnut Avenue, where the vehicle overturned onto a lawn and came to rest against a tree. Metro Fire officials reported that while the children suffered minor to moderate injuries, the adult passenger was critically injured and required immediate medical attention. The driver, who was unharmed, was taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol. Emergency crews had to extricate the passengers from the wreckage and transport them to local hospitals. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
