PR Sreejesh Debuts as Junior Hockey Coach

The Indian junior men's hockey team, under new coach PR Sreejesh, will begin their campaign at the 12th Sultan of Johor Cup against Japan on October 19. Sreejesh, a two-time Olympic medalist who recently retired, aims to lead the team to a fourth title, having previously won in 2013, 2014, and 2022. Captain Amir Ali expressed confidence in the team's preparation, seeking redemption after a previous loss to Germany. The team will face Great Britain, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand in the group stage, hoping to secure a top-two finish to advance to the final on October 26.
