Streisand, McCartney Release 'My Valentine' Duet May 16
Barbra Streisand and Paul McCartney have collaborated on a duet version of McCartney's 2011 song "My Valentine," which will be released on May 16, 2025, as part of Streisand's forthcoming album, The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two. Streisand expressed her joy in recording the track with McCartney, describing their time together in the studio as special, and shared a photo of them working on the song. The album, set for release on June 27, features duets with a diverse group of artists including Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Hozier, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Sting, Seal, Sam Smith, and Tim McGraw. "My Valentine" is the second track released from the album, following Streisand's duet with Hozier on "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." The song "My Valentine" originally appeared on McCartney's 2012 album Kisses on the Bottom and was written for his wife, Nancy Shevell, featuring Eric Clapton on guitar. Fans have responded enthusiastically to the collaboration, highlighting the iconic nature of the pairing between the legendary musicians.
