Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson Star in Song Sung Blue

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are set to star in 'Song Sung Blue', a musical drama directed by Craig Brewer, which follows a married couple forming a Neil Diamond tribute band to revive their dreams. The film, based on the 2008 documentary of the same name, began production on October 14 and also features actors Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, and Jim Belushi. Focus Features developed the project and holds worldwide rights, while Universal Pictures International will manage international distribution. Jackman and Hudson have both been showcasing their musical talents, with Jackman announcing a residency at Radio City Music Hall and Hudson releasing her debut album, 'Glorious'. The film is produced by John Davis and John Fox, with Erika Hampson and Greg Kohs serving as executive producers. No release date has been announced yet.
