In a separate incident in Pune's Kothrud area, a private bus driver allegedly under the influence of alcohol crashed into multiple vehicles, leaving two individuals critically injured, one of whom was injured severely when a motorcycle stand pierced his neck. The bus collision caused significant damage to an auto-rickshaw and two motorcycles, prompting police to arrest the driver, Balu Balasaheb Thorat.
