Panthers TE Tommy Tremble Undergoes Back Surgery, Expected Back for Training Camp

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble recently underwent successful back surgery, as confirmed by head coach Dave Canales, and is expected to be ready for training camp. The team decided on the procedure to address Tremble's back issues while he is still young and strong, aiming to get him back on track for the upcoming season. Tremble, who re-signed with the Panthers on a two-year, $10.5 million deal in March, has accumulated 85 receptions for 782 yards and nine touchdowns over four NFL seasons since being drafted in 2021. While Tremble will miss the remainder of the spring offseason activities, the Panthers expect him to rejoin the team’s tight end group, which also includes Ja'Tavion Sanders and rookie Mitchell Evans, by training camp.
