Two teens charged in Sydney home invasion, stabbing

Multiple teenagers have been charged following an alleged home invasion and stabbing in Marrickville, Sydney’s inner west, where a group of about eight masked individuals broke into a home and assaulted a 16-year-old boy, leaving him with several stab wounds. Emergency services responded to the incident and the victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police arrested two 15-year-old boys nearby, charging them with offences including affray, trespass, participation in a criminal group, and in one case, a knife-related offence; both were granted conditional bail. Subsequently, another 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were also charged with similar offences, with one being refused bail. Investigations are ongoing as police continue to search for the remaining alleged offenders. The incident has raised concerns about youth crime and group-related violence in the area.
