Sum 41 Cancels Australian Tour Due to Illness

Sum 41 has canceled their remaining Australian farewell tour dates due to frontman Deryck Whibley's pneumonia diagnosis, which has left him unable to perform. In a similar health-related incident, Goo Goo Dolls' frontman John Rzeznik was hospitalized for pneumonia, prompting the postponement of their South African tour dates, which will now take place in March 2025. Additionally, Falling In Reverse has postponed its U.K. tour after vocalist Ronnie Radke was denied a visa due to a previous conviction. The U.K. government currently prohibits entry for visa applicants with more than a year of prison time, impacting the band’s planned shows. These cancellations highlight ongoing health challenges faced by prominent musicians in the industry.
