Croatian skier Zrinka Ljutic secured her second consecutive World Cup slalom victory in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, following her earlier win in Semmering, Austria. The 20-year-old topped the standings with a combined time of 1 minute 39.62 seconds, edging out Swiss competitor Wendy Holdener by 0.16 seconds. Ljutic's success has propelled her to the lead in both the overall and slalom standings, accumulating 456 points overall and 309 in slalom, while former leader Camille Rast fell to fourth. Anna Swenn-Larsson of Sweden finished third, 1.19 seconds behind Ljutic. The absence of defending champion Mikaela Shiffrin, who is recovering from surgery, has opened the field for emerging talents like Ljutic.
