Estée Lauder Announces Leadership Changes in North America

Estée Lauder Companies has announced a leadership transition in North America as Mark Loomis, the current group president, prepares to retire at the end of fiscal year 2025 after nearly 30 years with the company. Tara Simon will take over as president of North America, while Amber English will become president of digital and online, effective January 1. Simon, previously global brand president for California brands, will focus on brick-and-mortar strategies, while English will lead the company’s digital-first transformation. Fabrizio Freda, the CEO, praised Loomis for his significant contributions and expressed confidence in Simon and English's capabilities to navigate the evolving market landscape. The leadership changes come at a time when Estée Lauder faces challenges in North America, including flat sales and competition for younger consumers. As the company pivots to capture new opportunities, Simon and English are expected to launch innovative products and enhance customer engagement across various channels.
