Traffic Stop in Arizona Discovers Missing 13-Year-Old from Alabama

A 13-year-old girl missing from Albertville, Alabama, since April 19 was found safe during a routine traffic stop in Holbrook, Arizona, after authorities noticed she was attempting to conceal her identity with fake tattoos and a false ID. The man accompanying her, 32-year-old Raul Alexis Arellano-Romero, claimed she was a 19-year-old friend but was arrested after detectives uncovered inconsistencies in his story and confirmed her true age and identity. Arellano-Romero had previously been arrested in Massachusetts in 2024 for unlawfully removing the same girl from her guardians’ custody and is now in jail with a $100,000 bond while authorities coordinate their return to Alabama. Meanwhile, Arizona authorities are seeking public assistance in locating two other missing youths: 13-year-old Tommy Alexander, last seen near Swan Rd and Sunrise Rd in Tucson, and 17-year-old Lily Katherine Glass, who disappeared from her home in Daphne, Alabama.
