A 17-year-old autistic teen with physical disabilities was shot by police in Pocatello, Idaho, after officers responded to a reported disturbance involving two males, one allegedly intoxicated and armed with a knife, and a female. The teen, who was shot nine times, is in critical condition and will require leg amputation. Police report that officers discharged their weapons when confronted by the knife-wielding suspect. The East Idaho Critical Incident Task Force is investigating the shooting, and authorities urge the public to avoid the area during the ongoing investigation.
