Women Entrepreneurship Summit Scheduled for October

In celebration of Omani Women’s Day, National Finance hosted an event honoring Omani women entrepreneurs, showcasing their vital contributions to the SME sector and their role in driving economic progress. The event highlighted the resilience of female leaders who have established homegrown brands, with National Finance committing to empowering women through tailored SME finance solutions. Concurrently, the CNMI Small Business Development Center is organizing the 4th Cohort of the Women Entrepreneurship Project from October 15 to 18, 2024, featuring sessions on credit management and business loans led by industry experts. Additionally, the Women Entrepreneurship (WE) Summit in Port Harcourt is expected to attract over 10,000 participants, with 500 women business owners set to showcase their ventures, emphasizing support for women-led businesses in the region. The summit includes exhibition opportunities and grants aimed at uplifting struggling women-owned businesses. These initiatives collectively reflect a growing recognition and support for women entrepreneurs across different regions.
