Max George Recovers from Life-Saving Surgery

Max George, the 36-year-old singer from The Wanted, shared his harrowing experience of undergoing emergency heart surgery, during which he felt compelled to write a will on his iPhone due to fears of dying. Admitted to the hospital in December, he was diagnosed with a heart condition that required a pacemaker. Reflecting on the fear he encountered, George recalled being surrounded by much older patients and realizing his responsibilities towards loved ones, including his girlfriend Maisie Smith, 23. After a challenging recovery process, he successfully had the pacemaker fitted and returned home just in time for Christmas. Throughout the ordeal, he credited his mother for her quick thinking and support, and expressed gratitude for his second chance at life. Now focusing on his health, George emphasized the importance of seeking help when needed and valuing life.
