Pakistan Forces Kill 33 Terrorists Near Afghanistan Border

Pakistani security forces killed 33 militants attempting to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan near the Sambaza area in Zhob District, Balochistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) identified the group as the India-sponsored Fitna al Khwaraj, an outlawed militant outfit linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. The operation involved precise and skillful engagement, resulting in no casualties among Pakistani forces, and a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was seized. A sanitization operation continues in the region to eliminate any remaining militants. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their bravery and reaffirmed the government's commitment to eradicating terrorism, emphasizing national unity in support of the armed forces. Pakistan and India continue to accuse each other of backing insurgents, with India denying any involvement in supporting militants in Pakistan.
