Cunard Launches Abbey Road Listening Lounge On Queen Elizabeth

Cunard Line has partnered with the iconic Abbey Road Studios to launch an exclusive Listening Lounge experience aboard its Queen Elizabeth cruise ship, debuting in October 2025. This 60-minute music journey, hosted in the ship's Commodore Club, features curated playlists handpicked by Abbey Road, showcasing legendary artists such as Ed Sheeran, The Beatles, and Gregory Porter, alongside renowned film scores recorded at Abbey Road's Studio One. The playlists include soundtracks from celebrated movies like The Lord of The Rings, Black Panther, Harry Potter, and more, offering guests a rich auditory experience complemented by Hi-Res / ANC Bowers & Wilkins headphones. Cunard President Katie McAlister emphasized that the partnership brings Abbey Road's musical heritage to sea, enhancing the luxury voyage atmosphere with themed music and a curated cocktail menu. Additionally, a special week-long event voyage from Southampton to New York in October 2026 will feature live performances, photography exhibitions, and Q&A sessions with Abbey Road’s recording engineers, celebrating the studio's history of innovation. Abbey Road’s General Manager Jeremy Huffelmann highlighted the collaboration as a unique opportunity to immerse guests in over 90 years of musical excellence while at sea.
