FBI Joins Hunt in Arkansas Double Hiker Homicide

Arkansas State Police are searching for a suspect in the double homicide of Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, who were killed while hiking with their two young daughters at Devil’s Den State Park. The daughters, aged 7 and 9, were unharmed and are now with family. Authorities released a composite sketch and photo of the suspect, described as a white male of medium build, last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt with rolled-up sleeves, dark pants, a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and carrying a black backpack, and possibly injured. Witnesses saw the suspect flee in a black four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, with the license plate covered by tape, heading toward State Highway 170 or 220. Police, with the assistance of the FBI, urge the public to review any photos or security footage from the day but ask that evidence not be posted online. All trails in Devil’s Den State Park remain closed as the investigation continues.
