The first 'Descendants' film premiered in July 2015, around the same time Zendaya was starring in 'K.C. Undercover,' which marked her final role with Disney. Since then, Zendaya has gone on to achieve remarkable success, including roles in major film franchises and earning two Emmy Awards for her work in 'Euphoria.' Despite missing out on 'Descendants,' Zendaya's career took off with her iconic role as MJ in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming.' The franchise itself expanded to include sequels and a recent spinoff, 'Descendants: The Rise of Red.'
