Xiaomi plans global HyperOS 3 rollout starting October 2025 across multiple devices
Xiaomi has officially launched HyperOS 3, its latest operating system designed for global markets, debuting alongside the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro smartphones. HyperOS 3 features a redesigned user interface with smoother animations, a new multitasking hub called HyperIsland, and enhanced AI capabilities powered by Google Gemini 2.0 and a GPT-4o mini model, which enable improved AI writing, search, translation, and real-time contextual assistance. The update also brings stronger ecosystem connectivity, including a new Touch to Share feature that supports seamless file and password sharing with Apple devices, and better integration across Xiaomi and Google apps. The rollout will begin in October 2025, initially pre-installed on new devices such as the Xiaomi 15T series, Watch S4, Smart Band 10 Glimmer Edition, Redmi Pad 2 Pro series, and Xiaomi Pad Mini, followed by stable updates for over a dozen Poco, Redmi, and Xiaomi devices through early 2026. This OS aims to enhance productivity, privacy, and cross-device collaboration, marking a significant evolution in Xiaomi's software ecosystem.
