Man, Dog Stabbed to Death After Kenosha Break-Ins

A 52-year-old man and his dog were found stabbed to death in their Kenosha, Wisconsin home after reporting a second break-in on the same day. The Kenosha Police Department initially responded to the home around 11:42 a.m. for a burglary complaint but found no one inside. They returned less than three hours later after another complaint, discovering the deceased man and his dog with knife wounds. Justin Tercek, a 41-year-old from Kenosha, was identified as a person of interest and was arrested later that day. It remains unclear if there was any prior connection between the victim and Tercek. Police have asked anyone with further information to contact their Detective Bureau.
