Scottie Scheffler secured his third major title and 15th PGA Tour victory by winning the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club with an 11-under overall score, beating the field by five shots. Despite a challenging final round where his lead briefly vanished, Scheffler regained control to finish strong, marking the eighth consecutive major in which he held the 54-hole lead and won. Jon Rahm, despite a late surge, finished tied for eighth, and Rory McIlroy, a favorite and recent Masters winner, placed 47th.
