Oklahoma and New York Deploy Drone Detection Systems

Following numerous reports of mysterious drone sightings across various U.S. states, including New Jersey, New York, and Oklahoma, state leaders are taking steps to mitigate potential threats. New York and Oklahoma governors have announced the deployment of drone detection systems to monitor and identify drone activity without disrupting it due to federal regulations protecting drones as aircraft. Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt emphasized the dual need to support the burgeoning drone industry while ensuring public safety by equipping law enforcement with mobile counter-unmanned aerial systems technology.
