Texas Rep. Landgraf Secures $17M to Extend Water Lines West Odessa

State Representative Brooks Landgraf has secured $17 million in the Texas state budget to fund water infrastructure improvements in West Odessa, Ector County. The majority of the funding is dedicated to "final mile" water line connections to provide clean and reliable water access to homes that currently lack public water service, especially in areas where residents have relied on wells that are drying up. In addition, Landgraf allocated $250,000 for a county-wide water infrastructure master plan to guide long-term development and ensure consistent access to clean water for all homes, businesses, and schools in the region. The Texas Water Development Board will oversee the planning and coordination of these projects with local leaders and public water suppliers. Landgraf emphasized his commitment to ensuring the funds are deployed quickly and effectively to benefit West Odessa families and businesses. This initiative addresses a longstanding issue exacerbated by population growth and aims to improve quality of life in this energy-producing region of Texas.
