Chiefs Rout Raiders 31-0
The Kansas City Chiefs routed the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 in Week 7 at Arrowhead, dominating from start to finish. Patrick Mahomes completed 26-of-35 passes for 286 yards and three touchdowns as the Chiefs outgained the Raiders roughly 434–96 while running 77 plays to Las Vegas' 30. Rashee Rice returned from suspension/injury and had seven catches for 42 yards and two red-zone touchdowns. Kansas City converted 9-of-15 third downs while the Raiders went 0-for-7, managed just three first downs, and became one of the few teams since 1950 to run 30 or fewer plays. The lopsided loss dropped Las Vegas to 2-5 entering their bye and intensified scrutiny of the Raiders' offense, coaching staff and quarterback play.
