During two shows at Melbourne's Palais Theatre, Tina Arena's performances were disrupted by both a brawl and audience members taking bathroom breaks during her set. On Thursday night, a fight broke out during her performance with Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright, causing the show to pause for 5 to 10 minutes while security intervened. The following night, Arena expressed frustration with fans leaving their seats for toilet breaks mid-performance, stating, "Back in my day, you wouldn’t leave to go to the toilet unless you were s***ting your pants," urging attendees to use the restroom before the show starts. Despite these disruptions, fans defended Arena, noting that her requests to avoid leaving seats during songs were reasonable and that her performance remained excellent. The incidents highlight challenges artists face in maintaining concert flow amid audience behavior, especially during a tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of Arena's landmark album Don’t Ask.
