Doctors Without Borders Reports Gaza Crisis

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has released a report accusing Israel of 'ethnic cleansing' in Gaza, highlighting the severe humanitarian crisis resulting from the ongoing conflict. The report details the dismantling of the healthcare system, forced displacement of Palestinians, and the destruction of essential infrastructure, resulting in catastrophic living conditions. MSF's secretary general, Christopher Lockyear, stated that the situation is consistent with indications of genocide, citing mass killings and severe health impacts on the population. Concurrently, Human Rights Watch has also accused Israel of causing thousands of deaths through systematic restrictions on water supply, describing these actions as 'acts of genocide'. Israel has denied these allegations, asserting that its military actions target Hamas militants and not civilians, and emphasizes its efforts to provide humanitarian aid despite the conflict. The reports come amid continued violence and widespread displacement, with 90% of Gaza's population reportedly living in precarious conditions.
