Jake Paul Buys Historic Georgia Ranch for $39M

Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, has purchased the historic Southlands ranch in Decatur County, Georgia, for $39 million, using earnings from his fight against Mike Tyson. The acquisition spans over 5,650 acres and is one of the largest private land deals in Georgia's history, featuring lakes, creeks, a renovated lodge, hunting grounds, and abundant wildlife. Paul called the purchase a 15-year dream come true, with plans for activities like wakesurfing, hunting, and building a racetrack. The ranch, located in Georgia's prized quail belt, had not been publicly marketed for nearly 90 years and was previously owned by Brian Philpot, CEO of AgAmerica Lending. Real estate brokers have likened the acquisition to owning a sports franchise, highlighting its recreational and conservation value. Paul is also preparing for a June 28 fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and continues to expand his real estate portfolio.
