Poland Calls for Inquiry into Memorial Destruction

Pawel Wronski, spokesperson for the Polish Foreign Ministry, condemned the act as an 'outrageous' violation of human memory and emphasized the need for an investigation into the incident. The Polish government is demanding that Russia identify and punish those responsible for the destruction. This incident comes amid heightened tensions between Poland and Russia, exacerbated by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The Russian embassy has yet to respond to inquiries regarding the situation.
