23-Year-Old Charged in Fatal Dublin Incident

Ryan Indede, a 23-year-old from Dublin, has been charged with the murder of Quham Babatunde, who was fatally stabbed in a 'group melee' on South Anne Street in Dublin's city center during the early hours of February 15. Babatunde, a Nigerian asylum seeker, suffered four stab wounds, including a fatal heart wound. Indede was captured on CCTV and arrested by the PSNI in Belfast while attempting to flee to Liverpool. He is the third person charged in connection with the incident, with Rory Carr and Jeffrey Bangu facing charges related to violent disorder and assault. The case involves cross-jurisdictional proceedings, and Indede has been remanded in custody with further proceedings set for March 21.
