The NFL has been working to improve minority representation in coaching positions. Since the implementation of the Rooney Rule, the league has seen a significant increase in the number of Black head coaches. The Fritz Pollard Alliance and the NFL are working together to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion in coaching hires. High schools in Colorado have also made several coaching hires for their football programs, including former Hall of Famer Mark Roggy.
